Grape harvest 2003
Ever seen in Burgundy ! The vintage permit at August
19 !
After checking the ripeness in our plots, we had decided to begin the
picking Saturday August 23, with the complete team of grape-pickers (not
without troubles…).
With a generous sun and raised enough temperatures, the grape-pickers
worked in good mood each morning of 6:30 am to 12:30 pm , during 6 days.
Least harvest appeared of a good quality with an indeniable
high content in sugars and an acidity relatively low. Once finished alcoholic
fermentation, the wines appears rather stout, but we leave ourselves a
little time before considering this vintage somewhat exceptional.
